Lifeline Information
What is Lifeline?
The Lifeline program has been a part of Jewish Family & Child Service for many years. We offer services to individuals and families seeking assistance and care for older adults, Holocaust survivors, people with disabilities, people who are acutely/chronically ill, and their families.
The Lifeline program provides prompt, high quality care by carefully matching the needs of the client with a home care assistant so that a trusting, comfortable relationship can develop.
Who can benefit from Lifeline services?
- An adult unable to perform the activities of daily living without some assistance (short or long term)
- Senior citizens who need help in maintaining their homes in order to remain independent
- A caregiver needing respite help with a loved one
- A family member looking for help for an ailing relative who may be increasingly more forgetful
- A low-income Holocaust survivor needing a emergency financial assistance
