TASK Information
The TASK program provides information and support for people with disabilities. These services are offered to parents, as well as children, adults, or teens with special needs. The focus of the TASK program is to provide the most inclusive setting for individuals with disabilities, and to provide support for the community in facilitating full inclusion.
A bi-monthly newsletter is published by TASK, which contains a calendar of local events, news related to disabilities and upcoming TASK activities. For information on TASK events Click Here
Note that TASK is not defined by any specific disability. Our program serves individuals with autism, mental retardation, Down’s Syndrome, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental illness, and any other special needs requiring supplemental support.
Housing for adults with disabilities is currently under development. It is our goal, in collaboration with Cedar Sinai Park, to create shared housing that provides independence for adults with disabilities within a supportive environment.
See our TASK services offered (hyperlink this) page for more information about what types of services we can offer you and your family.
