Dr. Adrien Wolmark (they/them) is a seasoned clinical social worker with more than thirty years of experience supporting clients through trauma, identity development, and systemic challenges to emotional well-being. Deeply committed to affirming care for LGBTQIA+ communities, Dr. Wolmark believes in the innate human drive to grow and heal, even in the face of adversity.

They offer individual counseling for adults and teens, and couples and relationship therapy. Dr. Wolmark also offers support for polyamorous individuals, and families. Dr. Wolmark is sex and body positive. Their work is health at every size informed.

Dr. Wolmark thrives in working with creative and nonconforming clients, cultivating therapeutic relationships rooted in mutual respect. Their professional background includes high-level administrative roles across academic and social service settings, and they’ve taught both undergraduate and graduate-level courses in psychology and counseling. As a mentor, Dr. Wolmark has supported emerging therapists in navigating the complexities of intersectionality, identity, and systemic discrimination.

They earned a bachelor’s degree from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, a Master’s in Social Service from Bryn Mawr College and a PhD in clinical social work from Smith College. Outside of clinical work, Dr. Wolmark enjoys international bike travel, intensive Hebrew and Kabbalah studies, and spending time with their two cats, Shifra and Puah.
