Development & Operations Manager
Kennedy Pate (she/her) is the Development & Operations Manager, supporting both the strategic growth and day-to-day program operations of the organization. She oversees grant writing, management, submission, and reporting, while also managing the organization’s CRM database, organizational partnerships, and CSS programming. With a passion for community-centered work, Kennedy enjoys creating systems and connections that help strengthen services and support for clients.
Kennedy received her Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a minor in Business Administration from Rogers State University. Prior to joining the team, she interned at Safenet Services, a Domestic Violence Shelter, where her experience working alongside survivors deepened her commitment to nonprofit and advocacy work.
Originally from Oklahoma and now based in Portland, Kennedy is an incoming Master of Social Work student at Portland State University for Fall 2026 and is a proud member of the collective giving circle, Ninety-Nine Girlfriends. Outside of work and school, she can usually be found outdoors with her dogs, spending time with family, or finding new ways to stay connected to her community.
