Volunteer Coordinator
Sabina Spicer (she/her) is JFCS’ Volunteer Coordinator, supporting the full cycle of volunteer engagement from recruitment to onboarding, appreciation and retention. She comes to JFCS with a host of experience with non-profit organizations that includes grant management, program development, and facilitation. Her dedication to nonprofit work stems from experiencing community in great programs in her hometown of Los Angeles (go Dodgers!).
Setting roots in Portland with her husband and kids, she has worked with several faith communities in social justice organizing and was on the founding board for the City of Milwaukie’s Juneteenth Celebration, amongst lots of other civic engagement. Now in her free time she likes to host pub-trivia, read with her kids, and make her husband laugh.
