Specialties: Families and children, providing support in English, Russian, and Hebrew

Zoe (she/her) has a wealth of experience working with families and children. She provides support in English, Russian, and Hebrew. Zoe focuses on supporting children and their parents in navigating the often complex world of childhood development and behavior support.

She utilizes behavior, talk and play therapy, using directive and non-directive approaches. For the latter, she focuses on the philosophies of Alfred Adler, Martin Buber and Janusz Korczak that emphasize that play is the best way children express themselves. Zoe helps develop strategies for engaging parents and families in promoting cooperation and overcoming fears.

Zoe is an experienced, dedicated, culturally sensitive and competent social worker who works with children, adolescents and their families, including people with mental and/or intellectual disabilities, and older adults and their families. She also is JFCS’ Intake Manager.

In her free time, Zoe dedicates herself to family, loves to travel, gobble up great literature and absorb the nature for which the Pacific Northwest is so well known.

Zoe has openings and is available to see clients on a sliding scale.
