Listen, Laugh, Connect: An Intergenerational Comedy Experience
Sunday, May 31
4 pm – 6 pm
at Portland Comedy Theater
535 NW 16th Ave, Portland
At JFCS, we believe connection across generations makes our community stronger.
Join us for a fun, interactive afternoon at Portland Comedy Theater where people of all ages come together to laugh, listen, and learn from one another. We’ll begin with a short improv performance, where ComedySportz performers work together to create scenes and songs on the spot based on audience suggestions.
Then, you’ll be invited (only if you want to!) to join the action yourself. Through guided, fun, low-pressure improv activities, led by CSz Portland, participants of all ages will explore new ways of listening, supporting one another, and building ideas together. No acting experience needed—and you won’t be put on the spot. Together, we’ll explore new ways of communicating and staying open in the moment—while sharing plenty of laughter along the way.
In a world that can feel uncertain and divided, this workshop offers something simple and powerful: a chance to connect across generations, build understanding, and practice showing up for one another in new ways.
Come as you are—and leave feeling a little more connected. All ages welcome. Refreshments provided.
No cost to attend but registration required. Register below.
