April Rosenberg (she/her) has been supporting individuals facing life challenges since 1993. She has worked as a mental health clinician in California, New York, and Washington after earning her BA in Psychology from Cal State Northridge in 1998, followed by an MSW in Social Work from U Albany, New York, in 2000. During her internship, she collaborated with the New York National Guard following the 9/11 terrorist attacks. This experience involved assisting victims’ families, providing critical incident therapy groups and gave April valuable experience in trauma etiology and treatment, family systems theory, social policy, and advocacy.

April has always valued the profound healing power of human compassion. Over her career she provided psychotherapy to seniors, young adults, couples, prisoners, medical patients, and trauma survivors. She also draws upon her lived experience and clinical expertise to effectively use Rogerian, Cognitive Behavioral, Gestalt, Somatic, EMDR and Motivational Interviewing techniques and therapies to guide clients to real-world lasting, life changes.

April’s clinical expertise is shaped by her urban upbringing in Los Angeles and her travels backpacking across Europe. In her free time, she enjoys comedy, indie films, textile art, road trips, and interior decorating with thrift store finds. April lives in Vancouver, Washington.
