MSW Intern
Emily (she/her), an MSW Intern at JFCS, holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Portland State University. Over the past several years she has worked in the intellectual and developmental disabilities field through case management, employment services, and in-home care. Emily is currently working towards her Master of Social Work degree at Portland State University.
In her free time Emily enjoys crafting as well as exploring local art events and hiking trails around Portland. She grew up in Ohio until moving to Germany with her family where she attended high school on a NATO air base. After graduating high school she returned to the states and spent time in Michigan and Idaho before setting down roots in Portland where she has lived since 2011. She also enjoys spending time with her partner Leif and two cats, Lucio and Karl.
